Ojodu LCDA’s Executive Chairman, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, has been widely praised for his exemplary leadership and developmental strides during a Governance Advisory Council (GAC) Stakeholders Engagement held at the Council Hall earlier today.

The meeting, led by former Lagos State Deputy Governor and GAC (Governor’s Advisory Council) Member, Chief Femi Pedro, brought together traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth representatives, market associations, artisans, and ethnic groups, all of whom commended Hon. Odunmbaku for delivering impactful governance.

Pastor Segun Fayemi, Chairman of the Community Development Committee (CDC), lauded the chairman for spearheading road construction projects and empowerment programmes across the council’s wards. Oba Hakeem Agbaosi EweObaja also commended the chairman for his welfare initiatives, including palace renovations, while the Baale of Ojodu, Baale Aro Najimdeen, called for his re-election.

Chief Pedro, during an assessment tour of the Irebawa and Adeshina Adeniyi-Oke roads and the upgraded Ogba Primary Healthcare Centre, described the chairman’s efforts as commendable, highlighting the ongoing free medical surgeries at the PHC.

Youth representative, Mr. Luqmon Apanpa, praised Odunmbaku’s empowerment initiatives for young people and women, while market leader, Madam Folashade Salako, appreciated the provision of interest-free loans for traders.

The GAC team, including Lagos APC Women Leader, Mrs. Jumoke Okoya Thomas, thanked the stakeholders for their positive feedback, noting the chairman’s inclusive governance as key to Ojodu LCDA’s socioeconomic growth.
