Lokia Synergy Cup Hots Up In Lagos

The action continues on Saturday in the ongoing Lokia Synergy Cup taking place at Akinbo football pitch, Akute, Ogun State.

In the fixtures made available to our correspondent, Accurate Football Academy battle Oregun Football Academy, while Akinbo United face Working FA. 32 teams are featuring in the competition which kicked off last Sunday

Only one match would hold on Sunday as Revival FC tackle Limo FC in a match promises to be tough for both teams.

In the matches played so far, Accurate FA humbled Sunshine Pro FC 4-1 as Solution FC defeated Bethel FC 2-1.

Match coordinator, Oluwafemi Joseph said the competition was organized to keep the clubs busy in Akinbo and its environs. He said he was impressed with the standard of the play by participating teams and urged the football fans to shun any form of vices that can bring the tourney into disrepute.

“The competition has lived up to expectations in terms of standard of play by the participating teams. I saw a good football artistry displayed by the players and the officiating is superb in Lokia Synergy Cup. I am not surprised about the officiating because we have employed qualified referees to officiate all the matches without fear or favour,” he said.

Joseph urged the players to give their best saying that some football scouts have called him on phone to come and scout for good players that would be marketable to professional clubs within and outside Nigeria.
