The operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) apprehended him while he was buying 30 pieces of fake Dollars and he was not able to explain what he wanted to use it for.
He was arrested and detained at the RRS office at Alausa, Ikeja, for interrogation and was found culpable after being interrogated by the operatives.

However, he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Josephine Ihkayere, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
