Fuji Music Star, Alhaji Sulaimon Alao ‘Malaika’ Adekunle has picked Monday 28 November as a release date of his much anticipated 23rd album, ‘Original’.
In the statement released by Malaika’s management, the audio songs will be released on the highlighted date by Babalaje Music.
Speaking on the album, Malaika said that the music has current issues relating to the happenings within our environment.
“The album has three tracks which talked about happenstances within our society. It focuses more on Yoruba culture and how music fans should try to rediscover their identity. Original will blow your minds when it eventually hits the music shelves,” Malaika said.
The ‘Original’ album was launched at 304-306 Bensham Lane Thornton Heath CR7 7EQ, London, United Kingdom last month.
Meanwhile, Malaika will be hosted to an Industry Night on Wednesday 23 November at a venue on Victoria Island, Lagos to be announced soon.
Malaika’s last effort, ‘Superstar’ was released in September 2014. But in between then and now, he has also pushed out two collaborations ‘Iya Mi’, ‘Ilu Mi’ and ‘Ogbon ati Ete’.
