Man, 21, Arrested Over Anal S*x With Boy, 13, Inside School Premises

A 13-year old boy has been forcefully defiled after he was raped through the anus inside the school premises in Lagos and was badly injured.


The incident happened at Owoseni Primary School in Oshodi, Lagos, at about 4pm after the school period when other students had gone home.

The suspect, Tunde Adeniyi, has been arrested.
Though the Police did not state if he was a teacher or staff of the school, but stated that he sexually assaulted the boy by penetrating his anus forcefully in order to satisfy his sexual desire.

Having satisfied himself, the suspect, Tunde, allowed the boy to go with the injury he had sustained and the boy informed his parents about what happened.

The matter was reported to the Police and he was arrested. He was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Command for further interrogation.
After thorough interrogation, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.

When he was arraigned, the Court denied him bail and ordered his remand in custody after the prosecutor, DSP Kehinde Ajayi, asked the  Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

Hence, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.O. Ajibade, directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice. 

The matter was adjourned till 9th August, 2021, for the report of the DPP to be available while the defendant, Tunde, will remain in custody pending the outcome of DPP’s report, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
