Man, 23, Arraigned Over Attempts To Seduce Lady While Sleeping

P.M.EXPRESS reports that when the lady woke up, she reported the matter to the Police. The suspect was arrested and charged before the Court for his alleged conduct.

The incident happened on 8th April,  2026, at about 00:01 a.m. at Reverend Ogunbiyi Street, GRA Ikeja, within the Ikeja Magisterial District.

According to the Police, the victim was sleeping and he sneaked into her apartment, brought out his dick and used it to rub her on the face and lips.

The victim was angry over his alleged conduct and reported the matter to the Police at Ikeja Division. The Police operatives arrested the suspect and detained him at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct.

After thorough interrogation, the Police found him culpable and charged him before the Court for the alleged offence.

Part of the charge reads:

“That you, Moshood Arowolo, sexually assaulted one Victory Daniel by using your penis to rub on her face and lips while she was sleeping and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 263 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.”

However, the Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Mr. Lucky Ihiehie, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O.Tanimola, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice.

The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
