Man, 23, Arrested For Penetrating Neighbour’s 3-Year Old Girl With Fingers 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ajao Adedokun Street, Abaranje, Ikotun area of Lagos State, where they reside.

The suspect was alleged to have lured the little girl to his apartment, forcefully removed her pants and inserted his finger into her private part in order to satisfy his sexual desires.

However, the dastardly act got exposed and the girl’s parents reported the matter at Ikotun Police Division. The suspect, Okafor, was then arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over his conduct.

After thorough interrogation and having been found culpable, the Police charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

The prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, moved a motion before the Court asking for the matter to be referred to the DPP for advice.

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Layinka, ordered his remand in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when the DPP’s report will be ready and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to DPP for advice.

The matter was adjourned till 14th February, 2023, for mention for the report of the DPP to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
