A 23-year old man, Joshua Joseph, has landed in trouble after he was arrested and charged before the Court for allegedly defiling his 14-year old cousin inside Barracks in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ojo Barracks in Ojo Local Government area of Lagos State, where they reside.

The victim was said to have suffered emotional trauma after both her 56-year old father, Taye Apata and Joshua Joseph, turned her into a sex slave. She then opened up and exposed them.

The matter was reported to the Police operatives from the Gender Section of the Lagos State Command and they were arrested

After interrogation and finding them culpable, the Police charged them before the Court for the alleged offence.

When they were brought before the Ogba Magistrates Court, the Court did not take their plea following a motion by the prosecutor, Supol Kehinde Ajayi, to the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.O. Ajibade, ordered their remand in custody without an option of bail and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.

The matter was adjourned pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice to determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
