Man, 27, Arrested For Seducing Girl, 14, By Sucking Her Breasts

A 14-year old girl in Lagos State has allegedly been defiled by their 27-year old neighbour, Ifeanyi Okani, after he sucked her breasts, she was unable to resist the temptation and was forcefully penetrated in the process.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Samuel Street, Mafoluku area of Oshodi, Lagos, where they reside.
The Police alleged that the suspect, Okani, lured the victim to his apartment, got her confused by touching and sucking her breasts, which made her unable to resist him.
However, after the romp, she realized herself and reported what happened to her parents who then reported the matter to the Police. Okani was arrested and transferred to the Gender Section of the Lagos State Police Command for interrogation over the conduct.
During interrogation, he was said to have admitted to have done so but with the victim’s consent as such it was not a case of defilement as claimed by the Police and the victim.
However, the Police found him culpable because of the age of the victim and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
When he was arraigned, the Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Supol Akeem Raji, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, ordered his remand in the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when the DPP’s report will be ready and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned pending the outcome of DPP’s report, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
