Man, 30, Arrested Over S*xual Assault On Girl, 13

Police operatives have arrested a 30-year old man, Makinde Adeoye, for allegedly inserting his finger into the private part of a 13-year old girl in order to satisfy his sexual desire.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Isona area of Ilesa in Osun State, where they reside.

Already he has been arraigned before an Oshogbo Magistrate Court for allegedly using his finger to sexually assault a young girl.
Though Makinde’s counsel, Barrister Tunbosun Oladipupo, in his testimony informed the Court that his client was impotent but was arraigned on one count bordering on sexual assault on the victim.

Police alleged that Makinde inserted his finger indecently into the private part of the girl, committing an offence punishable under section 360 of the State Criminal Law.

The Prosecutor, Mr. Abidoun Fagboyinbo, said Makinde committed the offence on June 16, 2020 at about 1:30pm at Isona area in Ilesa.
However, he pleaded not guilty before his Defence Counsel, 
Mr  Oladipupo, urged the Court to grant his client bail on the most liberal term.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. B.Omisade, asked to see the victim’s medical report from the Police, which he returned immediately after checking the details and then disclosed that the medical report presented to the Court showed that the young girl is still a virgin.

He then granted the defendant, Makinde, bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety in like sum, who must be a blood relation and adjourned the matter till 10th August, 2020, for mention.
