P.M.EXPRESS reports that Francis lost the bet narrowly and was asked to pay the money he used to play the game. But he refused claiming that he did not win it as he was assured that the numbers would win by forecasts.
The incident happened on 15th day of July, 2025 at about 1750hrs Opposite Genon Plaza, Ilufe, Ojo area of Lagos.
The matter was reported to the Police in the area. He was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct against the complainant, Idume Adanma.
While being interrogated, the suspect admitted to have played the game with the intention that he will win and then he will pay for the game if the company pays him.
The Police found him culpable and consequently charged him before the Ojo Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.
The charge read:

However, he pleaded not guilty.
