Man, 33, Lands In Trouble For Engaging Girl,15, In S*x Romp After Fondling Her Breasts 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Adekoya Street in Ifako Ijaiye area of Lagos, where they reside.

The suspect’s journey to prison began after he allegedly lured the victim to his apartment and engaged her in sex having confused her by touching her breasts before penetrating her.

Later, the victim was said to have realised herself, got angry, and raised alarm informing her parents about what happened and how she was lured into the act without her consent.

The matter was reported to the Police at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba. Aderemi was then arrested and detained for interrogation over the conduct.

During interrogation, he reportedly admitted to have done so but with her consent while the victim insisted that she was lured into it and as such she did not consent to it.

However, the Police found him culpable because the victim is still a minor and consequently charged him before the Yaba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

When he was arraigned, the Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor,  Supol Thomas Nurudeen, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E. Nwaka, ordered his remand in the correctional centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when the DPP’s report will be ready and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP.

The matter was adjourned pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
