Man, 38 Rapes 9-year Old Girl Inside Shop At Oshodi

A 38-year old man, Muyideen Omotusi did what seem unthinkable after he publicly carried a 9-year old girl, entered a shop and raped her in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect raped the victim with threats until she was bleeding before he left her and escaped.

The incident happened at Igbehinadun Street in Mafoluku area of Oshodi, where he met the victim, dragged her to the shop and raped her.

The suspect has been arrested, charged before a Lagos court and was remanded in prison custody.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the suspect saw the victim marching on the street with her short dress, called her but she refused to answer.

He then reportedly went to her, forcefully carried her and took her to the shop with threats to kill her.

Omotusi reportedly forced her to remove her knicker and he forcefully penetrated her until she was bleeding.

The suspect having satisfied himself, left her and escaped while the victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment.

The matter was reported to the police at Ilupeju Division and Omotusi was trailed and eventually arrested.

He was charged before Ogba Magistrates court and he pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrates, Mrs Davis Abegunde granted Omotusi bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.

He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.

The matter was adjourned till 18th of September, 2017.
