A 40-year old man, Amara Kennedy Chidi, who specialized in engaging ladies in sex romp, secretly taking their nude pictures and posting same on the social media if the victims fail to pay ransom, has been arrested in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Chidi, was finally arrested in a hotel at Olodi Apapa area of Lagos.
The Police Intelligence operatives had trailed him for several months after he allegedly blackmailed two ladies and unloaded their nude pictures on the social media.
The suspect, Chidi, reportedly lured the victims, simply identified as Esther and Gbemisola, to a hotel at Apapa and engaged them in sex separately.
While he engaged them in the romp, he secretly recorded their nude pictures and later showed them the nude pictures, with which he started demanding certain amount of money or he would upload them on the social media.
The victims, having realized that he actually had their nude pictures, started paying certain amounts of money to his UBA account number 2266921326. And when they were unable to pay more money,  he shared the nude pictures on social media.
At that point, the matter was reported to the Police, who then trailed and eventually arrested him. He later transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command for interrogation over his alleged unruly conduct.
After rounds of interrogation, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for sharing the nude pictures on the social media and obtaining money from the victims
He pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Layinka, granted him bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment.
The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
