Man, 42, Arrested For Engaging Girl, 15, In S*x For 13 Days

A 42-year old man, Emmanuel Udoh, has been arrested for engaging a 15-year old girl in marathon sex for 13 days in Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Kajola Street, Ejigbo area of Lagos, where he resides.

The Police alleged that the man, Udoh, had abducted the girl between 21st July, 2021 and 2nd August, 2021, for the purpose of having sex and eventually defiled her in the process.

After the alleged marathon sex with the girl for those days, he later allowed her to go exhausted and she was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment while the matter of abduction and defilement was reported to the Police at Ejigbo Division.

From Ejigbo Division, he was transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command after he told the Police that he did it with her consent and it was not a case of abduction and defilement.

However, after interrogation at the Gender Section, he was found culpable as the girl is still a minor. He was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

The Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, that the matter be referred to the DPP for advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. A. Layinka, ordered his remand in Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP.

The matter was adjourned till 6th December, 2021, for the availability of the report of the DPP.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the matter may likely be transferred to the High Court if the DPP finds him culpable and recommends his trial for defilement, which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.
