Man, 42, Sent To Prison For Engaging 2 Men In Anal S*x

A 42-year old man, Victor Adenegan, has been arrested and charged in Ibadan, Oyo State, for allegedly engaging two men, aged between 20 and 28 years in anal sex. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Moniya area of Ibadan.
He has been charged before the Iyaganku Chief Magistrate Court in Ibadan, for allegedly sodomising two men and making attempt on two other victims aged 28 and 40.
However, he pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned.
The Police prosecutor, Inspector Sikiru Opaleye, had earlier told the Court that the defendant on 14th January, 2024, at his residence allegedly sodomised two men aged 20 and 28 and equally made attempt to do so with two others aged 28 and 40 years.
Opaleye said the offence contravened the provisions of Section 214 and 215 of the Criminal Code Laws of Oyo State 2000, which attracts several years of imprisonment.
The Presiding Chief Magistrate, Mrs. O. O. Ogunkanmi, granted him bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood.
Ogunkanmi said one of the sureties must be a relation of the defendant, while the second surety must be a landed property owner with survey and building plans registered with Oyo State government.
The matter was adjourned 2nd May, 2024, for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the correctional centre pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
