Man, 47, Bites Wife As Strategy To Subdue Her During Public Fight

A 47-year old man, Olarotimi Adebayo, defeated his wife, Kathryna Adebayo, during a public fight in Lagos State by using biting her as strategy to subdue her having suffered several defeats in the past. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Taiwo Odekunle Street off College Road, Ogba area of Lagos, where they reside.
The wife, Kathryna, was said to have stronger bones and whenever they engaged in public fighting her husband, Olarotimi, usually suffer defeats.
But on this particular day, they had a disagreement over an undisclosed matter, which led both of them to engage in a public fight. The husband, having known her physical strength, employed a new tactics by grabbing her hand and giving her serious bites. She was eventually subdued before he attacked and injured her in the process.
The matter was reported to the Police at Isokoko Division and the husband, Olarotimi, was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over the alleged assault on his wife.
During interrogation, Olarotimi was said to have told the Police that he had suffered many defeats from his wife, Kathryna, in the past and he had to use biting as a strategy in order to subdue her and it worked for him.
The Police found him culpable because he caused her serious injury on the eyes and equally broke her phone after he subdued her with the bites.
The man was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court the alleged assault.
He pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinleye Funmilola, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.O. Hughes, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
However, the Court ordered his remand in the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions while the matter was adjourned for mention.
