Man, 57, Docked For Sexually Molesting 2 Under-aged Sisters

A 57-year old man, Victor Akintola, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly sexually molesting two under aged sisters, aged 7 and 5 by forcing them to watch pornographic videos before he touched their private parts. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Akintola Street, Ipaja area of Lagos, where they reside.
According to the Police, the suspect lured the victims to his apartment and forced them to watch pornographic films, which he loaded on his phone. And when he realized that they were confused, he removed their pants, put his fingers into their private parts and thereafter used his penis on their vagina in order satisfy his sexual desires.
However, information leaked about his conduct and the victims were interrogated. They revealed what happened to their parents and how the suspect lured them to his apartment and molested them after forcing them to watch the pornographic film.
The matter was reported to the Police at Family Support Unti at Ipaja Division. The operatives moved into action, eventually arrested and detained him at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
After interrogation, the Police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment.
The charge read:
“That you, Victor Akintola ‘M’ on the 12th day of October, 2024 at Akintola Street, Ipaja, Lagos in the Ikeja Magisterial district, did sexually touch the victims, aged, 7 years and 5 years old by inserting your finger into their private part and using your penis on their vagina after making them watch pornographic films on your phone and thereby committed an e contrary to and punishable under Section 263(1) and (2) of the tal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.
The Court did not take his plea when he was arraigned following a motion moved by the prosecutor,  Supol Akeem Raji, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. L.A. Owolabi, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice.
The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
