Man Arrested For Posting Lady’s N*de Picture On Internet

A 29-year old man, Michael Okolie, has been arrested and charged before the Court in Lagos for humiliating a lady by posting her nude photograph on the internet.


P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Abolaji Estate, Obawole area of Ogba, Lagos where they reside.

Police operatives from Area G Command, Ogba, who arrested the suspect, Okolie, over the act alleged he snapped the victim’s photograph with his phone while she was sleeping naked and kept it without her knowledge.

However, when they had a disagreement over an undisclosed matter, Okolie reportedly posted the nude photo on the internet and it was traced to him as the person behind the act.

The matter was reported to the Police; he was traced and arrested. Having been found culpable after interrogation, he was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace.


He pleaded not guilty. 


The prosecutor, Supol Akeem Rank, did not object to his bail but asked the Court to give a short date to enable the Police to prove he actually committed the alleged offence.


The Presiding Chief Magistrate, Mrs O.I.Adelaja, granted Okolie bail and remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.

However, the hearing on the matter had been stalled due to the judicial strike and no date has been fixed for hearing due to the strike.
