A businessman, Justine Onu, may never recover from the mental torture he suffered in Abuja after he allegedly claimed to have caught his wife, Joyce, having sex with his cousin in their matrimonial home.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the embittered Mr. Onu having been traumatized over the alleged act, has filed a suit before the Customary Court in Jikwoyi, Abuja, seeking for the dissolution of the marriage to his wife, Joyce.
He filed the suit before the Court on the ground of alleged adultery by his embattled wife, Joyce. He claimed that it has caused him mental trauma since he caught her having sexual intercourse with his cousin.
The petitioner told the Court that his wife, Joyce, was very promiscuous and he was tired of the marriage because it has brought him so pains instead of happiness since they got married and he discovered that she enjoys adulterous life.
Mr. Onu lamented that the pains had caused him serious health challenge to the extent that he developed high blood pressure because of his wife’s alleged promiscuous character.
He further alleged that his wife was irresponsible and does not take care of the children or cook for the family and he wanted the marriage to be dissolved so that he can move on with his life and have peace of mind.
However, the respondent, Mrs Joyce, denied all the allegations but did not state what led her embittered husband, Mr Onu, to have filed the suit seeking for the dissolution of the marriage before the Court adjourned the matter.
The Presiding Judge, Labaran Gusau, then adjourned the matter till 8th November, 2022, for the continuation of hearing on the matter.
