A man, Mr. Chukwuma Okoye has to live the rest of his life without one of his ears after his rival, Tunde Ibrahim used a sharp object to cut it off during a brawl in Lagos.

The incident happened at the railway line at Vono area of Mushin in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Okoye was rushed to a hospital with the ear that was cut off and the doctor confirmed that it was already dead and could not be fixed back.

It was gathered that trouble started between Ibrahim and Okoye over an undisclosed matter within the area described by the residents as the black spot in the area.

Ibrahim and others at large ambushed Okoye, attacked him using an object, cut off his ear leaving him in the pool of his blood and escaped.

The matter was reported to the police at Olusun Division. The police trailed Ibrahim, arrested him and charged him before Ogba Magistrates court for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace.

He pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mr. R. Oluseye granted Ibrahim bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety.
Ibrahim was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter will be coming up on 24 January, 2018 for trial.
