Man In Police Net Over Rape Of Ladies, Recording Acts

Police operatives from Ago Okota Division, Lagos, have arrested a suspected serial rapist, Onuoha Obi,who specialised in raping ladies and making video of his act in order to silence the victims.


P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Odih, was arrested after he reportedly raped a 25-year old  lady (name withheld) and made a video of his evil act with his phone.

The incident happened around Alakoto Avenue, Lord’s Chosen area of Ijesha, Lagos, but it fell under Ago Jurisdiction.

He was said to have always recorded the action on his phone in order to intimidate the victims so that they will not reports to the Police.However, the last victim summoned courage and reported the dastardly act to the Police, who went after him and eventually arrested him.

The recorded videos of the rape actions on his phone, which had been the tool he used to silence victims, were retrieved and kept by the Police as exhibit.

According to Police sources, during the investigation, it was discovered that the suspect, Obi, had series of ladies he had raped and recorded on his phone.

When P.M.EXPRESS reporter contacted the Police at Ago Division, the Police source confirmed the incident and said that the DPO has directed that the matter should be transferred to SCID Panti, Yaba, for further investigation to ascertain the number of victims that had been raped by Obi.

This was confirmed by the Police PPRO, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi who said that the suspect is in police custody undergoing interrogation over the alleged offence.

The suspect risks several years of imprisonment if he is found culpable, charged before the Court and found guilty for the alleged offence.
