Manchester Cup 2022: Excellent Performances Boost Buruj Boys’ Confidence Ahead Of Forthcoming Outing In Queensland

As preparations for the next outing gets to a heightened stage with impeccable performances as witnessed in recent matches, the Buruj Boys proved their doggedness, listening to instructions from the coaches, dedicated to their trainings and strived to always be at their best at all times.

Buruj Sports Academy has widely been known to be one of the best academies that give players platform to exhibit their innate potentials in front of foreign scouts coupled with a play and study initiative that works hand in hand with the soccer skills development programme. 

In 2017 and 2018, the academy emerged as the double Champion of the English Super Cup in Manchester City, UK’s biggest international youth football tournament played in the heart of the world renowned home of football with over 20 countries in attendance including Canada, USA, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Nigeria, Malta, Morocco, South Africa, Kenya, Belgium, Holland amongst others following the footsteps of legends such as Micheal Owen, Steven Gerrard, Jack Butland, Joe Allen, Curtis Anderson and Regan Poole.

While in 2019, it finished as the runner up in the Welsh International Super Cup, in Cardiff Wales, United Kingdom.

In quest to provide a team that is far better than the previous teams that have participated from 2017 till date. The technical department are leaving no stone unturned has the performance level of new players generate confidence with no limits to what they tend to achieve in the Queensland, with the rate of improvement displayed, getting laurels is just at their finger tips.

The ongoing Naza Pharmacy Unity Cup, FA Cup and series of friendly matches are prone to fortify them and further test their individual abilities, strength, techniques, endurance state, skills, etc as the international tournament draws closer.

The CEO, Dr. Salaudeen Waheed Buruj, urges his players to keep up the good work, maintain their fitness level at times, deviate from act that can affect their games like regular intake of sugary stuffs, lateness to bed, proper diets, amongst other good ethics to be kept by a player. 

“Above all, they should strengthen the unity that exists between them and always maintain good spirit. With all this in place the sky is just the starting point to greater happenings. Remember that steadfastness in what you do will attract the eyes of people who watches you and this goes a long way to determine your fate of signing good contracts” Dr. Buruj concluded.
