As part of his avowed commitment to putting on the spotlight dedicated public office holders and private individuals doing impressively well in their different fields of endeavour, Nigerian media consultant and Publisher of 4th Estate Reporters, has paid a heartwarming courtesy call to the Executive Secretary—National Assembly Library Trust Fund—  Rt. Hon. Henry Ndochukwu Nwawuba— at his Abuja office.
The National Assembly Library Resource Center, established under the National Assembly Library Trust Fund Act, 2023, is Nigeria’s apex legislative knowledge hub with overreaching mandate to support the lawmaking process through the provision of world-class library, research, documentation, digitalization, capacity building, and information dissemination services.
As custodian of Nigeria’s legislative memory, the Library safeguards and provides access to an unparalleled repository of knowledge—informing, engaging, and connecting Nigerians and visiting researchers to the nation’s legislative history and processes
Led by its pioneer Executive Secretary,  a seasoned legislator, astute administrator, boardroom business strategist and philanthropist, Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, who embodies a renewed hope in leadership and public service as he took us through the strategic mandate and core objectives of the Resource Center as a modern legislative support institution anchored on the strategic pillars of providing both physical and digital library services tailored to different users; lawmakers, researchers, organised groups, members of the ivory tower, and government institutions.
With over 70 engaged staff, the National Assembly Library Trust Fund Research Department provides lawmakers with non-partisan, data-driven policy analysis, comparative research, bill summaries, and technical advice across eight main thematic areas, serving as a think tank for the legislature, offering timely and informed insights to guide oversight, lawmaking, and budgeting, just like the Congressional Research Service of the Library of Congress USA.
Many Nigerians, foreigners and African  parliamentarians, who visited the Resource Center, have not only applauded this laudable milestone in the Nation’s history under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu GCFR,  but also have commended the Executive Secretary, Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, and his team for fully implementing the strategic mandate and core objectives of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund under their watch.
