The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, has proposed an exchange program between the Lagos State Assembly and the Swedish Parliament to enhance legislative collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Meranda made the proposal on Monday while hosting the Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Mrs. Hahn-England, in her office.

Emphasizing the long-standing business relationship between Nigeria and Sweden, the Speaker highlighted the need to strengthen bilateral ties beyond trade.

She encouraged the ambassador to promote increased Swedish investment in Nigeria, particularly in Lagos, to drive economic growth and development.
