Moniepoint Founder, Tosin Eniolorunda Visits SAIL Innovation Lab, Applauds Senator Abiru’s Vision For Youth Empowerment

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Moniepoint Inc., Tosin Eniolorunda, has paid a visit to the iconic SAIL Innovation Lab in Ikorodu, Lagos, where he commended the lab’s standard and applauded the co-founder of SAIL Empowerment Foundation, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru for strategically positioning young people for success in the global digital economy.

Addressing participants during an interactive session on Monday, Eniolorunda described the SAIL Innovation Lab as world-class, noting that both its facilities and faculty meet global standards.

He stressed that technology, digital skills, and innovation now represent the currency of today’s world, urging young Nigerians to take full advantage of the vast opportunities within the tech ecosystem.

He highlighted the growing global demand for tech talents, encouraging the youths to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to continuous learning.

According to him, Senator Abiru has provided one of the best platforms for young people in Lagos East to maximise their potential and compete favourably on the global stage.

“Leadership that invests in people, especially the youth, through technology and innovation is leadership for the future,” Eniolorunda said, describing Senator Abiru as a remarkable leader whose example deserves emulation by other leaders.

Also speaking during the visit, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State, Opeyemi Alabi, praised the vision behind the SAIL Innovation Lab, noting that the initiative reflects rare foresight and commitment to sustainable development.

He described Senator Abiru as a rare breed of leader whose impact-driven approach continues to create meaningful opportunities for young people.

In his response, Senator Abiru congratulated Eniolorunda on his outstanding achievements in the technology sector, particularly his success in building Moniepoint into a globally recognised unicorn.

He thanked him for serving as a living example to the young people learning at SAIL, demonstrating that excellence, perseverance, and commitment to learning can open limitless possibilities.

“Your journey sends a powerful message to our youths, that success is attainable if they are willing to pay the price and fully commit themselves to knowledge and personal development,” the Senator said.

The SAIL Innovation Lab has continued to attract national and global attention as a leading centre for tech, digital skills, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Lagos East.

Before Eniolorunda’s visit, several high-profile personalities have visited the facility, including renowned tech entrepreneur Iyin Aboyeji, further reinforcing its growing reputation as a hub for nurturing the next generation of Nigerian innovators.
