Nollywood actress, Huzzainat Adebayo, fondly called Huzzy Mama, has been speaking about her career in the Nigerian movie industry, which she believes has a blossom future.

According to her, the Nollywood, especially the Yoruba movies are very unique with the actors and actresses showcasing wonderfully their God-given talent in the Nollywood.

The Lagos-based actress, businesswoman and a wonderful mother also believes the patronage the Yoruba movies have been receiving over the years from the sons and daughters of Yoruba across the world has made the sector lucrative and profitable for its practitioners.

Speaking on her challenges in the industry since she started acting in the past couples of years, Huzzy Mama says she wished she gets that ‘bad girl’ face in most of the roles she has been playing in the movies.

“People usually tell me that they love to see me on the screen, that my acting is natural. I find it very exciting. But I must confess, while I want to do more, I always think I have not put in my best, that there is still a lot of room for improvement.

“If I may say, I think I have these challenges of not having a bad girl look and stature. Am I looking so cool? I am always asking myself at times.

“Nevertheless, I thank God for giving me this talent because it is just natural for me. I strongly believe that with the help and grace of God, the sky is my starting point in the industry,” she said.

Speaking about her role model in the industry, she comfortably pointed to Allwell Ademola, a multifaceted Nigerian actress, filmmaker, director, singer, and scriptwriter, who has made significant strides in the Yoruba movies industry.

According to her, Allwell Ademola made significant positive impacts and influence on her as she gradually picked up since she broke into the Nigerian movie industry.

Huzzainat Adebayo has featured in a couple of movies, which include Oro Esan, Tiwatope Clepto, Ajisore and Araye Rorun.

She also featured in two yet-to-be-released movies, Oyekan and Oko Igbo.
