When Mrs. Sanwo-Olu Joined Athletes On Road Race At Lagos Women Run (PHOTOS)

The 4th Lagos Women Run was held on Saturday amid pomp with over 13, 000 runners taking part including the First Lady of Lagos State,  Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu. and other important dignitaries in the society, who used the Run to exercise their bodies.

The First Lady flagged off the 10km Run at the TBS, Onikan at the end of which Kenyan Cheptoeck Careen braced the tape at 28 mins, 55 seconds to win the race, while Nigerians  Deborah Pam and Elizabeth Huhu Power, both from Plateau State, came second and third respectively.

The excitement that trailed the participation of Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu added glamour to the 2019 edition of Lagos Women Run. P.M. EXPRESS caught the frenzy of the Run in this photo news.
