Lagos State First Lady, Mrs Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu is one of the high profile personalities expected at the final ceremony of the 6th edition of Asisat Oshoala Football4girls Tournament which holds at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Centre (formerly Onikan Stadium) on Lagos Island in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.

The First Lady, who has been a pillar of support for the Asisat Oshoala Foundation, would perform a dual role at the event. She will attend as a Special Guest and she will also use the occasion to mentor all the participating girls.

Mrs Sanwo-Olu will sensitise the girls on the dangers faced by the girl-child through puberty, adolescence to adulthood, and distribution of sanitary pads and feminine products through the office of the First Lady of Lagos State.

The Executive Director, Emzor Pharmaceutical, Lagos, Mrs Uzoma Ezeoke is also expected as a Guest of Honour during Friday’s final ceremony.

Friday’s final is also packaged with other exciting programmes which include mini-medical tourism for the girls, a medical health day for the girl-child, where there will be a series of medical checks for all the participating teams and giving out of sanitary pads to the girls.

The Asisat Oshoala Foundation is a pet project of the Captain of Nigeria’s Super Falcons, Spain-based Asisat Oshoala, who is so excited with the turnout of participants for the event this year. She is equally happy with the support from the First Lady, Mrs Sanwo-Olu, Emzor Pharmaceutical, UBA Foundation, Molped sanitary pad and others.
