A dreaded armed bandit, Adekunle Bello, who was arrested by Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) at Bariga, Lagos, described himself as a killer, armed robber, and kidnapper has narrated his success story in the crime world.

P.M EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Bello, confessed that he started picking pockets from when was 12 years old, later was initiated into a cult group and advanced to join a group of armed robbers, who taught him how to use a gun and within a short time he became an expert.

Bello revealed that he has two siblings from the same mother but a different father and did not have any parental influence as his mother went out with other men, he grew up on the street and became a bandit.
He confessed to have killed a lot of people and was made the official executioner because of his ego at killing people without mercy. He also revealed that along with his cult members, they acted as thugs for politicians. Whenever there is an election, they will be sent to attack and kill the rivals of the politicians and be paid huge amounts of money.

Bello said, “I can’t remember the number of people I have killed but I know they were many before I was arrested”.

Police sources said that Bello had been declared wanted for two years by the Police Command but he escaped to Cotonou, Benin Republic and from there he usually sneaks into Nigeria to check on his wife and children.

However, he met his waterloo when he was called for robbery operations from Cotonou to Nigeria and he was apprehended at a Police checkpoint.
Police sources said he would be charged before the Court after the conclusion of investigations as he was said to be assisting the Police to arrest his other gang members now at large.
