The President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, has blasted ex-convict and Ezendigbo in Ajao Estate,  Eze Fred Nwajagu, for linking him with his imprisonment, stating that nature jailed him for his iniquities.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Mayor Aguene stated this on the heels of false claims by  Eze Nwajagu on the social media that it was Chief Aguene that sent him to prison despite repeated efforts by Aguene to secure his release from prison.

An embittered Aguene stated that he was not aware when Eze Nwajagu made the comments that he will bring IPOB to Lagos to cause violence, which landed him in trouble. He also stated that he was not even aware that he was in prison until some people drew his attention to his predicament occasioned by his threat and unguided comments.

Mayor Aguene explained that he visited Eze Nwajagu on several occasions in Ikoyi prison and gave him money in the presence of his wife and one Rev. Paul Eze.

He also explained that he went to Court and met him on several occasions in order to encourage him and made efforts to the extent of contacting the Governor and what he got in return from Nwajagu was insult and linking him to his imprisonment over his careless talk and behaviour.

Aguene stated that he was surprised when Nwajagu went on air to link him with his imprisonment despite the fact that he never knew anything about it and he was aware that he was making efforts to get him released.

Chief Aguene declared that it will never be well with Nwajagu for linking him to his imprisonment and stated that he deliberately made the irresponsible statement of being an IPOB member with the intention that he will use it to extort money from Ndigbo but it backfired.

Aguene revealed that he knew Eze Nwajagu years back as a back man of late Eze John Nebeolisa and he had never had any means of livelihood and his life was full of lies and deceit.

“How can he call himself Eze in the room apartment he is living in Ajao Estate, which is a guest house?”

Aguene stated that his second encounter was when he met him where he had meeting with Ndieze when he was contesting to become the president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State. He explained that during the meeting,  Nwajagu refused to shake him. But he did not hold it against him and when he won the election and started performing, he visited him at the Ohanaeze Secretariat and later started abusing Aguene, threatening to throw him out of the Ohanaeze Secretariat. But he did not insult Nwajagu back.

“When Eze Nwajagu was insulting me, I did not reply him. The only thing I told him was that nature will fight him because I did not offend him. What is happening to him is the nemesis of the atrocities he had committed both in his family and to other people” Aguene stated.
