As a member of the ICAO Trainair Plus Program (TPP), the Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), a training institute under the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development charged with the responsibility of training pilots, air traffic controllers, aircraft maintenance engineers, cabin crew, and several other aviation professionals, has earned remarkable recognition at the Global ICAO Implementation Support Symposium 2024, held on May 2 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Notably, NCAT clinched multiple awards, including the prestigious accolade for the highest number of trained instructors for six consecutive years up to 2023 and the award for the highest number of trainees on ICAO training packages.

Furthermore, NCAT was inducted as a platinum member of the Trainair Plus Program steering committee, an elite group of just four-member nations globally.

This outstanding achievement was made possible with the support of the Hon. Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, SAN.
