The  SAIL Innovation Lab is an initiative of the SAIL Empowerment Foundation, which is an endowment founded by Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru and his wife, Mrs. Feyisola Abiru.

Hundreds of constituents across Lagos East Senatorial District, and beyond had been trained in the Lab that boasts of world class facility and faculty free of charge.

During the visit, the NCC EVC, addressed participants in Data Science and 3MTT Product design classes, and the Awarri AI.

He encouraged them to maximize the unique opportunity that has been provided to them, adding that Senator Abiru and his wife had provided a great platform for many young people to harness their potential and creativity to find expression, particular at this age digital and tech revolution.

He said, “I am wowed! This is a huge sacrifice of time and resources for the people. I want to plead with the community, I know they are taking full advantage of it. I think this is one great initiative they should treasure. They should join to ensure that the sustainability of this place is maintained”.

In the past, eminent Nigerians and accomplished professionals, including Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, had visited and tour the SAIL Innovation Lab, and also inspired  participants to reach for their full potential.
