NDPHC Successfully Energizes Its NIPP Substation At Awka

The Niger Delta Power Holding Company has successfully completed and energized its NIPP 2x60MVA, 132/33kV Awka Substation at 4.30 PM Thursday 26th November, 2020.

Chaired by VP Osinbajo, NDPHC is incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act as a private limited liability company with shareholding fully subscribed to by the Federal, State and Local Governments with a mandate to manage the power projects tagged ‘National Integrated Power Projects (NIPP)’.

The National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) was conceived in 2004 as a fast-track government funded initiative to stabilize Nigeria’s electricity supply system while the private-sector-led structure of the Electric Power Sector Reform Act (EPSRA) of 2005 took effect.
