New Town Record Signee, Debra Can Set To Drop ‘Happy’ April 17

Fast-rising Afrobeats singer, Debra Can, is set to release her new single, ‘Happy’, on Friday April 17, 2026.

The Lagos-born artiste, who is signed under New Town Record Label, has continued to build momentum in the music scene with her blend of Afrobeat, pop and soul.

Inspired by global music icons Brandy and Toni Braxton, Debra Can has steadily carved a niche for herself with songs that reflect themes of hope, resilience, love and celebration.

With over 13 tracks already to her credit, the singer has shown consistency and versatility through songs such as Enjoyment, Tell Me, No Limit, Higher, Story Time, Oga Adviser, Adura, Bad Man, Hold On, Owo and Falling, among others.

Further underlining her growing profile, Debra Can has also collaborated with notable Nigerian acts including Terry Apala and Magnito.

Her forthcoming single, ‘Happy’, is expected to reinforce her rising status as one of the promising female voices in Nigeria’s contemporary Afrobeats scene.
