Nigerian Okechukwu Kalu Toast Of African Football Clubs, Manager Reveals

Many African clubs are beginning to show interest in Okechukwu Kalu who is currently playing in Stade De Malian Football Club of Bamako, Mali.
Kalu’s manager, Uchenna Samuel Eke said his player is currently a hot cake as many clubs in Africa are chasing Kanu to put his signature for them next football season.
Eke, who doubles as Sports Director of Samjason FC of Lagos, said the former Sokoto United player has distinguished himself in the Malian League by winning the league and Malian FA Cup for his club.
“Kalu is currently in hot demand by many clubs in Africa because of his performances at the just concluded CAF Champions League and the Malian League. Presently, some clubs have been showing interest in Kalu. I won’t like to reveal the identity of the clubs because negotiations are still going on and as soon as we are through, I will reveal Kalu’s next club to the public,” he said.
Eke said if Kalu is continued the way is playing, I believe he would have the opportunity of playing for the senior national team.
“Kalu is just 19 years old, but he has brighter and rewarding future. I would not be surprised if he plays for any European clubs and get a call up to the national team in the nearest future. When he was at Sokoto United, he was outstanding and when he is in Stade De Malian, he is superb. This is to tell you that Kalu has carved a niche for himself and his time has come to take his career to next level,” said Eke who disclosed that Kalu started his football career at Samjason FC.
