Noah Abolaji Salaudeen Takes His Season’s Tally To 10 Goals

Posted on June 21, 2025
Nigerian forward, Noah Abolaji Salaudeen, has continued his impressive form in the 2025 Lithuanian II Lyga B Division, contributing a goal and an assist to take his season tally to six goals and four assists in 11 matches.
However, Noah’s efforts were not enough to prevent VJFM Fortūna from falling 4–2 to FK Minija B in a dramatic Round 11 encounter on Friday.
The match, played at the Kretingos artificial turf pitch, saw Fortūna take an early lead with Justas Česnavičius opening the scoring in the 6th minute.
The goal was expertly assisted by Noah, whose precise pass, carved open the Minija defence.
Noah got on the scoresheet himself in the 36th minute, doubling Fortūna’s advantage with a calm, clinical finish, registering his sixth of the season, capping a dominant first-half display from the visitors.
Minija B however, responded with determination. Just before halftime, Jurgis Jankauskas pulled one back in the 44th minute to reignite hope for the home side. Jankauskas struck again five minutes after the restart, levelling the game at 2–2 and shifting momentum in favour of Minija.
The comeback was completed in the 60th minute when Aleksas Pipiras converted from the penalty spot to hand Minija B a 3–2 lead. Substitute Matas Baltmiškis then sealed the win in the 76th minute with a composed finish.
The result sees Minija B climb to 9th place on the II Lyga B standings with 7 points from 11 matches, moving above Fortūna—who also sit on 7 points but drop to 11th due to an inferior goal difference.
Minija B will be buoyed by their spirited comeback as they prepare for the second half of the season, while Fortūna and standout performer, Noah, will aim to regroup and return to winning ways in their next fixture.
