Nollywood Artist Fights Dirty With Neighbour Over Lady

A fight between a Nollywood makeup artist, Ikenna Maduka and his neighbour, Ikechukwu, took a dangerous dimension after Maduka attempted to use a knife and bottle to kill Ikechukwu in a public fight over a lady identified as Chioma in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the fight took place at No. 35 Vineyard Street off Bucknor Estate, Ejigbo area of Lagos, where they reside.

The Police in Ejigbo Division led by the DPO, CSP Olabisi Okuwobi, have arrested Maduka for his conduct by attempting to kill Ikechukwu over the lady in question and he is undergoing interrogation.

Though Ikechukwu escaped death and received minor injuries as a result of the attack, he was said to be in a state of shock over what happened which would have cost his life because of the lady.

Though Maduka denied that he was dating Chioma, Ikechukwu had suspicion that he lied to him and that was why Chioma treated him in a shabby manner.Trouble started after Ikechukwu told Maduka that he was in love with Chioma and was looking for a way to hook up with her. Maduka then told him that Chioma was his friend and promised to introduce her to him and gave him her phone number.

When Ikechukwu later called Chioma, he received serious embarrassment and he linked it to Maduka, who he had suspected was dating Chioma which made him get angry with him.This caused serious disagreement which eventually led to a public fight and in the process Maduka attempted to waste Ikechukwu’s life.

The matter was reported to the Police and he was arrested and detained at the Station for interrogation.P.M.EXPRESS scooped that Maduka admitted that he actually wanted to stab Ikechukwu and did not know what came over him and had apologized to him but he still reported the matter to the Police.

When P.M.EXPRESS correspondent visited Ejigbo Division, he was still detained at the Station while his relations were busy trying to release him on bail.

However, Police sources said that Maduka will be charged to Court to serve as deterrent to others who might try such in future.
