Nomy Rejects Benchwarmer Position, Loses Right to Participate in Big Brother Naija Season 11

Posted on September 8, 2026

Big Brother has revoked Nomy’s right to participate in the Big Brother Naija Season 11 game and ordered her to leave the House following her refusal to accept the Benchwarmer position on Monday night.

Nomy was assigned the title of ‘Benchwarmer’ after her performance in Monday night’s Head of House Challenge. The position is given to housemates who do not perform strongly enough in the challenge. However, Nomy refused to accept her Benchwarmer vest or take her designated seat after the game.

This was not the first time Nomy had been assigned the Benchwarmer position this season. Her repeated refusal to comply with Big Brother’s instructions has previously resulted in several warnings and a strike.

Despite these disciplinary measures, Nomy continued to defy Big Brother’s instructions. Her latest refusal to accept the Benchwarmer position prompted Big Brother to take further disciplinary action, revoking her right to participate in the game and ordering her to leave the House.
