November 6: Ekwunife, Obi Urge Anambra Youths To Vote PDP On Saturday

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, in company of the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the last general elections and former governor of the state, HE Mr Peter Obi, on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 met with a group of Anambra youths from Anambra Central Senatorial District.

Speaking at the gathering, Ekwunife appealed to Ndi Anambra to deliver the PDP on Saturday, stressing that the candidate of the party, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo is the popular choice of the people. The Senator urged Ndi Anambra to ensure they turn out en masse to vote for the party.

Speaking further, the A-grade lawmaker promised that through the instrumentality of legislation she would continue to promote policies tailored towards promoting economic prosperity and investment in human capital development.

In his remarks, HE Peter Obi encouraged Ndi Anambra to vote for the PDP. He decried the absence of governance in the state, adding that the present government has done nothing for the people.

Obi commended Ekwunife for her giant strides on the floor of the senate, noting that her constituents are proud of her representation.

The President General of Nri Kingdom, Chief Dr Kelvin Obiegbunam who equally graced the occasion described Ekwunife as a human capital developer, saying that she has done well in sponsoring quality bills and motions, infrastructure and empowerment. He noted that Ekwunife is the only government known by the people of Anambra Central, noting that the present government has failed in governance.

Also speaking, Stanley Onyeka Nwoguji, one of the youths present at the occasion noted that the ‘energetic’ Ekwunife has been doing entrepreneurship training for youths for many years, urging her not to rest on her laurels. Nwoguji further assured that the group will vote and support PDP on Saturday.
