Obiano Scores The Winning Goal With Soludo

With the election of Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo as the APGA flag-bearer in the just concluded Gubernatorial Primaries, and the subsequent emergence of some other flag-bearers from opposing political parties in the state, the political struggle to win the Governorship race in Anambra State has fully commenced. There is no doubt that it is going to be a fierce battle between APGA that effectively controls the state and the other political parties that will fight even with borrowed strength, and probably other means, to see if they can unseat the incumbent party in Anambra, come November 6, 2021.
With the stage already set, all APGA members will have to work assiduously together in order to retain our only state, Anambra. It is a time for total reconciliation and reaching out to anybody who felt injured as a result of the screening of candidates during the primary elections. All others that may have been nursing grievances for some time now should also be brought back into the fold. This task will do us pretty good once we dedicate our time, energy and resources to it.

The choice of Soludo has indeed prepared our great party for the contest. The emergence of the erudite Professor of Economics, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, is a masterstroke for APGA in the race, thanks to the ingenuity of the delegates who chose him for us. Great thanks too to the incumbent Governor and the leader of our great party, Governor Willie Mmaduaburochukwu Obiano, and all the other stakeholders of APGA for the choice of Soludo.

Like I said in my previous article, the name Soludo rings a bell due to the track record associated with it such that no other contender amongst the 2022 gubernatorial hopefuls, irrespective of party afflictions, could come close.

APGA has the most qualified candidate in Soludo. We have a man who has held sway and transformed the Nigerian banking sector to what it is till today, a sector that was in comatose before his assumption to the position of the governorship of the Central Bank of Nigeria. We have Soludo who aided the Olusegun Obasanjo administration to revamp the nation’s drowning and bastardized economy. For sure, Soludo is a replica of Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

Ndi APGA, we should be proud of what we have in Soludo. A lit lamp cannot be hidden. No other contender in this Gubernatorial race can comfortably rub shoulders with him. He is the primus inter pares amongst them. He has both local and international muscles via his contemporaries and colleagues at the Central Banks of nations and even at the World Bank to lift Anambra to a status we will all be proud of.

Soludo’s promise of turning Anambra State into the Dubai of Africa is poised to come true. Anambra’s Odenigbo has what it takes, allied with the full potentials and capacities, to use what we have here in the state, mixed with what he has to garner from the nooks and crannies of the larger world, to run a continuity and progressive Government that will showcase APGA’s good intentions for the state. Under Soludo, APGA will continue to give Anambra more of the best things the state needs to take care of her citizens and thus transform into a more advanced and developed society.
