The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, has declared that Ogun State will deliver no fewer than two million votes for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in 2027.
Senator Adeola made the declaration at the inauguration of the City Boy Movement in Ogun State at Ake Palace Pavilion, where he described the massive turnout as a strong indication of the level of support and mobilisation for the APC across the state.
According to him, President Tinubu has done considerably well for Ogun State in the area of mega infrastructure like Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, Badagry-Sokoto Highway and the country at large stressing that the people of the state have every reason to mobilise strongly for his re-election and ensure a decisive victory at the polls.
He also commended Mr. Seyi Tinubu for his efforts in mobilising support for the President, describing the growth and organisation of the City Boy movement as impressive.
Speaking on the turnout at the event, Senator Adeola said the size of the gathering demonstrated Ogun State’s readiness to stand firmly with the APC under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON.
He assured that the mobilisation would be sustained across the state as the APC works towards delivering its two-million-vote target for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The event had in attendance Engr. Noimot Salako Oyedele, the deputy governor of Ogun State, Dr. Kunle Salako, Minister of State for Health and Social Services, High Chief Bode Mustapha, the Osi of Egbaland and a host of top government functionaries.
