Ojodu LCDA Chairman Honoured With ‘Award Of Excellence’ By Forum Of Past Councillors

In a testament to his exemplary leadership, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, was honoured with an “Award of Excellence” by the Forum of Past Councillors (Ikeja Federal Constituency).
The delegation, led by the Forum’s Chairman, Hon Edward Arogbonfoh JP, commended Odunmbaku for his outstanding contributions to local governance. Arogbonfoh highlighted Odunmbaku’s extensive experience, including his roles as Secretary to the Local Government in Ikeja LGA and Ojodu LCDA as pivotal to his effective administration.
The Forum lauded Hon. Odunmbaku’s strong rapport with both current and former Councillors, underscoring his cooperative spirit that benefits the entire Ojodu LCDA. They expressed their willingness to support and collaborate with him to further enhance governance in the LCDA.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Odunmbaku expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, viewing it as motivation to continue his service and dedication to community development. He acknowledged the crucial role of experienced political leaders in governance and welcomed the Forum’s input in decision-making.

Odunmbaku also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Local Government reforms and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for fostering a conducive environment for Local Councils in Lagos State. He dedicated the award to the people of Ojodu LCDA, reaffirming his commitment to their progress and well-being.
