The citizens and residents of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, once again heaved a sigh of relief as hundreds benefited from the free medical rescue mission organized by the Council administration in collaboration with Eko Club Atlanta.

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, expressed his commitment to ensuring the well-being of every member of the community.

He reassured the people of Ojodu LCDA of the resolve of his administration towards revamping and improving primary health care service delivery.

“Our administration has been working round the clock since its inception, towards the rejuvenation of the Primary Health Service Delivery and the rehabilitation of similar infrastructures,” said Hon. Odunmbaku. “Today, our medical team will be providing a range of services, including primary care consultations, general health check-ups, vaccinations, laboratory testing, treatment for common illnesses, and basic emergency care. Our goal is to ensure that every member of our community has access to quality healthcare services, regardless of their financial status.”

Hon. Odunmbaku also highlighted the need for continued support in providing essential medical interventions, such as free surgical interventions for gynecological conditions, eye conditions, and orthopedic conditions. He emphasized the importance of upgrading medical facilities by adding an ambulance for emergency services, upgrading some of the 8-hour PHCs to comprehensive 24-hour PHCs, donating medical equipment to PHCs, and upgrading the Geriatrics Center at Oke-Ira Central PHC.
