Ojodu LCDA Holds Stakeholders Meeting On Proposed Reconstruction Of Adeshina-Adeniyi Oke Road

Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, has convened a vital Stakeholders Engagement Meeting on the proposed reconstruction project of the Adeshina-Adeniyi Oke Road.

 

The meeting, which was held at 10am today 13th May, 2024, brought together residents, community leaders and relevant stakeholders to deliberate on the forthcoming infrastructure development initiative.

The proposed reconstruction project of the Adeshina-Adeniyi Oke Road underscores the LCDA’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for its residents by providing improved road infrastructure.

It is one of the 114 road projects championed by the Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu across the entire Fifty-Seven Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas in Lagos State.

Recognizing the importance of engaging with the community throughout the project lifecycle, Ojodu LCDA initiated the Stakeholders Engagement Meeting to solicit feedback, address concerns, and ensure transparency in the decision-making process.

 

During the meeting, attendees had the opportunity to voice their opinions, ask questions, and offer suggestions regarding the reconstruction project. The discussions encompassed various aspects including project timelines, potential disruptions, environmental considerations and community impact mitigation strategies.

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, emphasized his dedication to fostering collaboration and cooperation among all stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the Adeshina-Adeniyi Oke Road reconstruction project.

The Mayor reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing the welfare and interests of residents while striving for excellence in the infrastructure project.

Furthermore, Hon Segun Odunmbaku assured residents that their feedback would be carefully considered in the project implementation phases while reiterating the administration’s open-door policy, encouraging ongoing dialogue and transparency throughout the duration of the reconstruction project.

In conclusion, House Deputy Leader, Hon Gbenga Opebi expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their active participation and constructive contributions during the Stakeholders Engagement Meeting while promising that Ojodu LCDA remains steadfast in its resolve to deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions that enhance the socio-economic prosperity of the community.
