Ojodu LCDA Hosts Local Government Service Commission Officials
The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, warmly welcomed the officials of the Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) on a statutory visit to the LCDA.
Hon Odunmbaku expressed his appreciation regarding the deployment of qualified and erudite technocrats to the LCDA in a bid to actualize the goals of his administration.
“We appreciate your commitment to the growth and development of Local Government administration particularly through the posting of professionals and erudite civil servants whose wealth of experience and vast knowledge have been instrumental to the achievements which our administration has recorded so far”, the Ojodu Mayor said.
Likewise, after highlighting some of the welfare packages (for the community and members of staff) and projects, the Chairman seized the moment to seek more assistance for the Commission.
“We still are in need of more capable hands to further complement the efforts of the existing workforce in order to actualize our agenda captured in the acronym; HEYS – Health, Education, Youth and Women Empowerment, Social Infrastructure which are in tandem with Lagos State’s THEMES agenda and Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, the Chairman requested.
In his response, Hon. Akeem Bamgbola, who represented the LGSC Chairman, Hon Kamal Bayewu, expressed his satisfaction at the Chairman and staff members for their warm reception and the good reports thus far. He also admonished the entire staff to synergize with the relevant authorities and comply with the extant regulations for the success of the administration.
Present at the meeting were, Honorable Commissioners LGSC, Permanent Secretaries, Directors, Vice Chairman Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, SLG Hon. Olaide Bello, Leader of the House Hon. Apatira Opeyemi, and other legislative members, Executive Committee member, management staff and the entire staff of the LCDA.
