Ojodu LCDA NYCN Branch Hosts Skills Development Programme

The Ojodu LCDA branch of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) recently organized a comprehensive skills development programme in commemoration of the “World Youth Skills Day” aimed particularly at training youths, especially women, in soap making, shampoo, conditioner, and air freshener production.

The event saw the presence of distinguished guests, including the Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman, Pastor Segun Fayemi and the Special Adviser on Youths and Social Sports, Hon. Femi Fadeyi, who both encouraged participants to apply the skills acquired towards achieving self-reliance and economic independence.

Comrade Lukmon Olabode, Coordinator of the NYCN Ojodu LCDA branch, lauded the Mayor of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, for his relentless efforts in promoting capacity development among the youth. He and the facilitator, Mrs Jimoh Ronke emphasized the importance of such initiatives in empowering the younger generation and enhancing their livelihood opportunities.
