Ojodu LCDA Participates At Lagos Community Day Celebration

Ojodu LCDA Community Development Associations And Community Development Committees yesterday attended the Lagos State Community Day at the Police College Parade Ground, Ikeja.


The attendance was facilitated by the Department Of Agriculture and Social Services, which led the CDA and CDC in Ojodu LCDA to participate in the Statewide annual event courtesy of Hon Segun Odunmbaku.

The Lagos State Government organizes the Community Day to encourage, support and appreciate CDAs and CDCs for performance in self help projects across all local governments in the state.

The Executive Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, presented four new buses to outstanding Community Development Associations and a gift of N500,000 Naira consolation prizes to six CDAs for their efforts in consolidating with his administration T.H.E.M.E.S. Plus Agenda through their self-help projects.

The Executive Chairman Of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku was represented by Hon Lekan Peters at the event and he reinstated the commitment of the Mayor in working closely with the Community Development Associations towards implementation of more grassroots involved projects that would impact the grassroots for socioeconomic development.
