Ojodu LCDA Residents Comply With Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise

Residents of Ojodu LCDA have shown strong commitment to environmental cleanliness by actively participating in the monthly Environmental Sanitation Programme, in line with directives from the Lagos State Government and the Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku.
The exercise recorded impressive turnout, with residents, traders and youth groups cleaning streets, clearing drainage channels and properly disposing of waste. The initiative is aimed at promoting a healthier environment, preventing flooding, and reducing the spread of diseases.
Council Environment Department officials monitored compliance across the area, while also engaging residents on proper sanitation practices. Community leaders commended the high level of participation, noting that collective responsibility remains key to sustainable environmental management.
Residents expressed support for the Council’s efforts and pledged continued cooperation in maintaining a clean and safe environment as the exercise highlights Ojodu LCDA’s growing culture of environmental responsibility and alignment with State government policies.
