Ojodu Mayor, Hon Odunmbaku Backs Youth Hydroponics Training

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, in line with his commitment to youth empowerment and innovative agriculture, has facilitated a visit to Ojodu youths currently undergoing hydroponics training at the renowned Soilless Farm Lab.
Representing the Council Chairman, Mrs. Omisore Oluwakemi, Head of Agriculture & Social Services, engaged with the trainees in an interactive session. The youths expressed excitement about the life-changing skills they are gaining and appreciation for the rare opportunity to be part of a forward-looking agricultural initiative.
During the visit, Mrs. Omisore also extended welfare support by providing essential food items to encourage their dedication and ensure they remain focused on their training journey.
This initiative reflects the Council Chairman’s vision to equip Ojodu youths with 21st-century skills, promote food security, and foster self-reliance.
The hydroponics programme is a practical step towards building a new generation of agripreneurs who will shape the future of sustainable farming in our community..
